Starting my own education consultancy is something I’ve been planning for a while. After years of working inside universities and helping international students through the (often overwhelming) maze of admissions, visas, enrolment, and compliance rules, I decided it was time to create something of my own. That’s how LFG Education Consulting was born.
LFG stands for Learning for Future Growth. At its heart, this consultancy is about helping people move forward in their education journeys with support that’s personal, informed, and practical.

🎓 From International Student to Compliance Specialist
Before I worked in the UK university system, I was an international student myself. I know how exciting, but also confusing, it can be to move to a new country for your studies. Between applications, visa deadlines, and figuring out what documents go where, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked in roles at Oxford Brookes, Royal Holloway, University of London, and Vogue College of Fashion, supporting students through every part of their journey. I’ve:
- Issued hundreds of CAS letters;
- Helped institutions prepare for audits;
- Advised teams across Admissions, Finance, Legal and Academic departments;
- Supported thousands of students at pivotal moments.
I’ve worked with data and policy. But at the heart of it, my work has always been about people: listening, simplifying the process, and helping students feel seen and supported.
🚀 Why Start a Consultancy?
After years inside the system, I saw a gap: Too often, students are treated like numbers. Compliance becomes a checkbox. However, both matter deeply, and students deserve more.
That’s where LFG comes in.
When the consultancy officially launches this summer, I’ll offer:
- One-on-one support for international students, particularly those interested in applying for courses in the UK, Spain, or Romania;
- Step-by-step guidance through applications, personal statements, and visa processes;
- Consulting for universities that want to better support international students.
👋 For now, I’m starting small: no team, no agency; just me, sharing what I’ve learned and offering early conversations to anyone who needs clarity.
💡 What Makes LFG Different?
I’m not trying to be the biggest consultancy out there. I’m focused on being:
- Helpful: explaining the process clearly;
- Reliable: offering advice based on real institutional experience;
- Practical: focusing on what matters for each student or university.
Because I’ve worked in compliance, I know how to prevent issues before they arise. And because I’ve been in your shoes, I understand how stressful and personal decisions can feel.
🌍 I also speak Romanian, English, Spanish, and some French and Catalan, so I can connect with students and families in a way that feels clear and personal.
